Tsinghua Affiliated High School Alumni Network Phase II - alumni information management system platform development in full swing

With the pace of the centennial anniversary approaching, the work of the centennial anniversary of Tsinghua High School has been promoted in an orderly manner, among which the construction of the alumni network of Tsinghua High School is one of the most important contents。As of July 2014, there are about 42,000 graduates from Tsinghua Affiliated High School (approved), all over the world。In order to enhance the cohesion of Tsinghua Affiliated High School and expand its social influence, the second phase of Tsinghua Affiliated High School alumni Network project -- alumni information management system platform development is being carried out intensively。

This project is supported by Sun Xiaomei, a 71-grade junior High School alumnus, Jiang Yi, a 73-grade junior High School alumnus, Kuang Jinjun, a 73-grade junior High School alumnus and Feng Ke。The four alumni are all elites in the IT industry, and they have volunteered to serve everyone for the centennial celebration of their Alma mater。Since the end of January 2015, together with the Alumni Association, we have carefully analyzed and designed business requirements in order to establish an alumni information management system with complete information and provide quality services for the majority of alumni。

It is a necessary basic work to put the students' school records into the computer which have not been electronic in the past。A total of 10 Tsinghua University law School students and 19 alumni volunteers participated in the data collection。From April 3 to 17, 695 man-hours (314 man-hours for students and 381 man-hours for alumni) were invested successively to collect basic information about about 28,000 alumni from 620 classes from 1946 to 2003。This project has received great help and support from the director of the Teaching Management Center Yin Fanyu, Director Zhu Pei and teacher Zhang Xia, which provides great convenience in site use and file sorting。On the morning of April 11, Vice President Xie Juzhao came to the conference room B408 to visit the alumni and students who still stuck to their jobs at the weekend, understand the progress of the project, and express heartfelt thanks to the alumni and volunteers for their hard work。

The Alumni Information Management system of the High School Attached to Tsinghua University will build a bridge between alumni and their Alma mater. It is an information platform that integrates several systems of alumni information management and information release。The alumni information is collected through various methods, such as importing school records, collecting by grade/class, and filling in alumni registration, etc., and establishing alumni information database。Through the establishment of this system，It is convenient to obtain, query and count alumni information;Alumni can log into the system with their real names，Easily and quickly query their own grade, classmates in the same class, class teacher，And the teacher's information;Homeroom teachers can find information about the students they teach;At the same time, for the alumni association, each grade and class to communicate alumni, release notice notice information，Assist in the efficient implementation of alumni services。
