The 2016 high School graduation ceremony of International Department of Tsinghua High School was held
On the morning of June 5th, the 2016 graduation ceremony of the International Department of the High School Attached to Tsinghua University was held in the auditorium of the High School Attached to Tsinghua University。About 450 people attended the ceremony, including President Wang Dianjun, Executive President Shi Ping, Vice President Li Wenping, Maxine Klimasara and Bruce Hammond, as well as all the students, teachers and parents of the Middle School of the International Department。Senior High School Social Science Teacher Caroline Scott and Chinese teacher Qian Chao co-hosted the ceremony。
First, the graduation ceremony was held. 39 graduates dressed in graduation gowns entered from the rear of the auditorium。They were greeted by school leaders, staff, students and parents warm applause。The graduation ceremony will be a perfect ending to their time in the International Department。

Wang Dianjun, President of the High School Attached to Tsinghua University, delivered a speech。He first extended warm congratulations to the graduates and reviewed the achievements of the International Department in the past year。Graduates are then encouraged to take the Tsinghua school motto of "self-improvement, moral commitment", become "outstanding talents with both Chinese cultural heritage and international vision", and take on the responsibility of global social leadership。Finally, President Wang Dianjun borrowed Mr. Yu Guangzhong's song "For the Future of You" to express his expectations for the graduates of this year, hoping that they will "come home often in the future".。

Bruce Hammond, Vice President of the International Department of Tsinghua High School, delivered a speech。He reviewed some interesting things that happened in the early days of the International Department, affirmed the growth of the graduates in the past few years, and placed their deep hope that they could continue to explore a better life with the full harvest obtained in the International Department。

Two videos made by the graduates were then shown。One section records their daily life in the school, showing the International students' unrestrained thinking and superb practical ability。Another video shows each graduate growing from a babbling baby to an innocent elementary school student to an energetic 18-year-old。This made many parents sigh and shed tears。In this way, they became adults under the witness of their parents and schools。
After the film, two valedictorians, Tao Ya Ni and Wang Zili, gave a humorous and sincere speech。The two students talked about their experiences at International High School and encouraged students in other grades not to be limited by their grades。He jokingly recalled his high school career and expressed his gratitude to the teachers and parents。At the end of the speech, all the graduates took the stage to solemnly plunge into the "time capsule" their pre-written vision of themselves 20 years from now.。In their determined faces, we are sure that they will also fight for this!
