Tsinghua High School Student amateur Party School to carry out tree planting activities

2017年7月9日，冰球突破豪华版网页版第30期学生业余党校的30名学员，在冰球突破豪华版网页版校团委书记任星阳、新教师赵习和李君楠的带领下，前往河北张家口张北县开展以“绿色中国，志愿我行——喜迎党的Tree planting activities with the theme of the 19th National Congress。

The activity was carried out thanks to the strong advocacy and support of Mr. Liao Lichun, a Grade 81 alumnus of Tsinghua High School。Liao Lichun, an alumnus, used to be an excellent entrepreneur. Since 2004, he has been engaged in public welfare undertakings, participated in desert management, and gradually transformed into an expert in forest cultivation, sand control and ecological restoration。He was awarded the title of "Beijing Role Model" in 2014, "Capital Moral Model" and "China's most Beautiful Volunteer" in 2016.。In response to the call of Liao Lichun alumni to "green the desert", the students of the Amateur Party School of Tsinghua High School formed the 245th volunteer Group of Mr. Liao Lichun "into the Lofty" to contribute their own strength to the national desertification control with practical actions。

On the way to Zhangbei, Mr. Wang Zhan, the docent of the "Into the Lofty" advance group, explained in detail the overall trend and control situation of desertification in China, and the efforts and results they have made in this regard for more than 10 years。The students were deeply touched after hearing this, and were full of expectations and high emotions for the next tree planting activities。

After arriving in Mantou Ying Township, Zhangbei County, the teachers and students first participated in the greening volunteer tree planting briefing hosted by Liao Lichun alumni to clarify the significance of the tree planting activity and the specific implementation plan。After the meeting, in order to express their admiration and gratitude, the students of the amateur Party School presented the mascot uniform cow of the Affiliated High School of Tsinghua University to Mr. Liao Lichun。

Subsequently, the students of the amateur Party School of the Affiliated High School participated in the labor process of weeding, planting trees and pruning with the help of volunteers。Although the sun was blazing in the sky, the students were enthusiastic, earnestly learning planting skills, and scrambling to complete the planting task of the 245 volunteer forest。Finally, the students, full of joy of labor and harvest, took a group photo next to the memorial forest。

On the way back, the students shared their feelings about the tree-planting activities one by one, and they all said that the process of tree-planting is full of happiness and expectations, and the practice of public welfare has gained a lot。In the tree planting activity, the students devoted themselves to it, participated in it effectively, and gained a full sense of labor achievement。Through the voluntary tree-planting activities, the students established a sense of mission and overall awareness of practicing environmental public welfare。Green China, everyone has the responsibility, the desert on the volunteer forest shows the patriotic sense and responsibility of the attached people, this kind of voluntary feelings and the spirit of the country and the world will be passed down from generation to generation。
